Hickory, Walnut, & Maple Burl | Central Kentucky

QUINN is a handmade lidded hickory wood bowl with a figured walnut lid and a maple burl finial, all hand turned on my lathe. The hickory wood comes from a board from a more than hundred-year-old Central Kentucky barn, and the figured walnut and maple burl wood were responsibly sourced in Fayette County, Kentucky.

With the lid, the bowl measures 5″ wide by 3″ tall (including the finial). Without the lid, the bowl is 5″ wide by 1-3/16″ tall, with an interior measurement of 4-1/4″ wide x 3/4″ deep. The wood was finished with high friction polish to bring out its natural color, grain, and tone.
