Greer

Walnut | Bourbon County, KY

GREER is a walnut wood serving dish that was hand turned on my lathe from wood sustainably sourced here in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Remnants of the wood’s outer bark are visible, and the lighter sapwood provides a nice contrast with the dark interior grain. Appearing iridescent in the right light, this is one striking piece.

The dish measures 12-1/4″ in diameter and 1-3/4″ tall with a maximum interior depth of approximately 1-1/4″ and was polished with food safe Terra Nova NaturOil  followed by a coating of beeswax for added protection.
