FAULKNER is a large southern magnolia wood serving platter that was hand turned on my lathe. The magnolia wood was responsibly sourced in nearby Franklin County, Kentucky. Bark inclusions, small natural cracks, and knots have been reinforced but left otherwise natural. Worm holes also are visible in the wood.

The platter measures approximately 12-3/4″ in diameter and 1-1/2″ tall with a depth of 1″ and was polished with food safe walnut oil and finished with a walnut wax containing a blend of beeswax and carnauba wax to provide a durable finish and rich luster.
